I have all my images in folders on an external drive as referrenced files organised by Year>Month>Date. The structure is mirrored on Aperture With the Year and Month being folders and the date being a project that holds the image.

The files are then all backed up on another separate external hard drive

I have images dating back to 1998!!

I have just started to shoot in RAW and so I'm doing much more editing of images.

My question is should I also be creating a vault and if so should I create a vault for each year or should each year be a separate Library?

Would appreciate some input
