launched Aperature recently, imported to two new projects and now can't find them. i'm a very new user on MAC and Aperature. right after, realized 7 other projects that i recently imported and edited are not in the project list, only 1 out of 9 projects is accessible.

Did you happen to type something into the search in the Library pane? The search box is at the top of the list of projects. If something is entered, just click the x in the box to clear it.

In case my first suggestion doesn’t work, Joseph asked me to tell you to check to see if you accidentally switched libraries at some point. If you have, you can switch back using the File->Switch to Library command. If you have had more than one library open, the previous libraries should be listed in the menu.
If you did happen to create multiple libraries and want to merge them back together again, choose the File->Import->Library/Project… menu command to merge an un-open library into the currently open library.
