I am new to HDR. What HDR software is best for use on Mac. Are there good plugins for Aperture?

I use Photomatix Pro. There is an Aperture plug in for it, but I’m not a big fan of it. It’s not as powerful as the standalone program. So I export, process, then when I save it at the end Photomatix sends it back to Aperture, though to an Untitled Project that you’ll have to move back to your working project. It can also tay the photo with a keyword, which is helpful for me.

Karen,

When it comes to learning HDR, you have to visit Trey Ratcliff’s site StuckInCustoms.com. He has a ton of training available as well; check out the HDR Video Tutorial. He’s not an Aperture user, but I think as Iain pointed out, the plugins may not be the best route.
