Copying master pages between themes #1

Hello,

I creted a lot of new master pages inside a particular book. I know I can duplicate this book to reuse it elsewhere.

But I would like to copy some of these master pages inside another book, possibly with another theme. I have not found a way to do this, even when looking inside the “package contents” of both Aperture or its library

In another post, a user suggested using indesign for this, but I would rather avoid having to invest (and learn) Indesign just to create books.

Tx in advance!

Nicolas,

Unfortunately it’s not possible. As great as Aperture’s books are, this is one serious limitation that has yet to be addressed.

You can duplicate the book with the master pages you like. Then export it as a library. Open the library, and delete the photos you used in the book design. Keep that book project as a library to access later. Then, import the blank book project into the library you want to use the book in.
