I’m struggling.
I can’t open Aperture.
This is the error message:
” There was an error opening the database for the library “/Users/mikey/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary”. “
I click open, this pops up in a box with the openly option being ‘Quit’ which then closes the program.
I can’t do anything else or even get into any settings or repair options.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Navigate to your Library in Finder. Hold down Command+Option+Shift and double-click your Library. Aperture should then present a screen like this.
Select the “Repair Database” option and then press the repair button. See if that fixes your Library. If that doesn’t work, use the same keys above to open to this screen again try the selection for ”Rebuild Database”.
