I just found out today and confirmed it with Backblaze, they do not support EA/Tags , metadata. Therefore, any restores done from Backblaze, will cause you to lose all your tags and other file organizational data that is store in the metadata. With Apple putting more reliance on the contents of their metadata, we as users could lose tags and so forth.
If Backblaze is going to be a good service, they have to support this feature of Apple.
Hmm, interesting. I, too, have Backblaze as well. I also have time Capsule so I guess I should be covered unless it gets stolen or destroyed (err…which is the whole idea of getting Backbalze!) Duh. Backblaze needs to do an upgrade,
