Greeting Card #1

I have Aperture 2, and am wondering if there is a way to create greeting cards within Aperture 2 and print them on my home printer. I do not wish to export out to iphoto. Can it be done through the custom book options? I generally would use an A4 sheet of card and then fold it in half to create an A5 card. I feel that this should be really easy in Aperture, but so far cannot find that easy approach.
Many thanks in advance.

Jon,

Sure thing. But first know that you don’t have to export to use iPhoto. iPhoto will let you browse your Aperture library and grab the photos you want to do greeting cards, calendars, etc.

For doing it in Aperture, create a new book, choose Book Type: Custom, then click New Theme at the bottom. From there you can make the page any size you like, then use the layout tools to add picture boxes, text, etc.

The book tool is a cleverly disguised and very powerful page layout tool, built right into Aperture!
