Is there any way of knowing which library I'm currently using in Aperture short of checking through file/switch to library/other etc?

Hi

I belive the answer you are looking for is the name situated just above the projects in the Library tab: [screenshot]

Thanks so much Graham. My problem has been that I have at least 4 libraries named “Library” on various external drives so that I’ve never noticed a difference. I’ll now give them different names.. thanks again.

Phillip,

You can also see it listed in the Preferences, under General. The first item is Library Location and includes a handy button “Reveal…”, which reveals the Library in the Finder.
