Maybe this was covered already in another thread, but when viewing my photos using the, “All Photos” choice, in the sidebar, under, “Albums”, the ability to sort by date is preselected to, “Keep Sorted By Date Added”, and greyed out.
Is this just something that will probably be enabled in future updates to Photos? My photos, when displayed with the above choice, does not sort my photos by date taken. I was able to get around this by creating a smart ablum, so that my photos are listed in the order they were taken.

But is there a difference? I mean, if you start off with an empty library, empty SD Card, shoot photos, import them, wouldn’t the photos be sorted by date anyway? Meaning the Date Added is the same as Date Taken?
I do get your point, and it (Keep Sorted By Date Added) shouldn’t be greyed out, but does it matter? Have you slowly imported more libraries over time, adding older photos after adding newer ones?
