I used to iPhoto app to make photo books while away on holidays using my iPad but can no longer do it with Photos. I dont want to take my laptop away with me anymore and have been happy with the books done on my iPad, they are just for family snaps.
Is this a feature that will eventually come to Photos?
Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement app, I found iPhoto great to use for books and really miss it ,
No one knows what will or won't come to Photos, unfortunately.
You could do printed books from iPhoto for iPad? I don't remember that… funny.
There are lots of book printing services out there with iPad apps. The only one I've actually used is Mosaic, which was quite cool but it's a very limited format.
Check out Impressed, which I've downloaded the app for and looks great but I've never ordered.
Otherwise just search “books” on the iOS App Store and read the ratings. See what other people love, and if you find something great, do let us know!
