Can anyone please help me with the above? I know you can put a USB cable into a Mac book pro, which is running Aperture, and connect it to your camera (D4 in my case) start the Tethering and specify which folder (Project) you would like your photo to go in to, and it just works great.
I would like to get rid of the USB cable and go wireless. I am thinking of buying the Nikon WT-5 Wireless Transmitter. In the Nikon pdf for the
WT-5 it says you can “Image transfer” from camera to PC but there is no information about how you send it direct to a specified program (Aperture) or folder once it gets onto your computer. There must be someone out there who knows how to make this work like a USB cable.

Here’s hoping

Unfortunately, Aperture doesn’t have a “watched folder” feature which would automatically import images placed into the folder. Hopefully that feature will be added in a future release.

However, you can create your own watched folder by creating a Folder Action using Automator.
