Hi all - apologies for what is no doubt a bit of a newbie question, but here we go…

I’m finally in a position to move on from my old iMac, and for reasons I won’t bore you with my best option is to get an MacBook Air; but I digress.  My current iMac is running Aperture 2 (told you it was old) and I’ll be moving to Aperture 3 with the MBA - can someone confirm that I’ll be able to migrate the Library without too much trouble? 

Also, I’ll be working remotely with the MBA a lot, so I was wondering if there is a possible workflow in which I could use a smaller, local library whilst out and about, that I can then sync to another drive when I’m at home; and which point the local library would be cleared for the next shoot.
