Hi Radek,

This is caused by a bug in Aperture which I hope Apple will fix soon. When an image is exported from Aperture the “Lens type” exif info disappears. The script works by exporting and then importing images, and unfortunately there’s no way to stop Aperture from throwing away the Lens type in the process.

I’ve written a bug report to Apple and this is really something they need to look at. Unfortunately there’s no solution to this problem before they fix the bug.

Found this problem too, hopefully a solution some time soon on Apple’s side. This also happens for any custom Metadata fields too
