I'm a big fan of high contrast monochrome looks (mostly for street, concert or some kinds of reportage photography). The current Sony cameras (SLT, ILCE, RX) come with such a style which I really like - but its JPEG only of course. When I use Aperture I used “Monolith for Aperture” by Thomas Fitzgerald - which has some very similar styles. I have now tried the film styles from http://captureonestyles.com/ and there are several ones that are very good candidates (look essentially the same).
