Am on the verge of getting LR, but am curious…

1 - Does LR have the ability to “reconnect” photos the same way Aperture can reconnect referenced photos if you move a file or a folder on your drive?

2 - I have Adobe’s CS6 and have no desire to get the subscription based service LR. Is LR6 compatible with CS6? 

3 - Does LR have a RAW processor like Aperture? Is this RAW processor continually updated for new cameras? If I buy LR6 instead of the subscription service, am I stuck with no updates for new cameras?

4 - If anyone out there bought LR6, did you get the DVD or download, and how did your experience with installation go?
