I purchased Aperture some months ago and started using it, importing most of my iPhoto library.
I recently purchased Aperture 3 Apple Pro training series and loaded the DVD. I have loaded the lesson libraries into both Aperture and iPhoto probably stupidly and of course I no longer have access to my photos. They are still there but not in iPhoto or Aperture.
I have 2 questions
(1)Is it possible to switch between libraries?
(2)If not how do I get my photos back

You can easy switch libraries from the menu File > Switch To Library, and you should see your original library listed there. It will probably just be called “Aperture Library”. You can switch freely between as many libraries as you like!
