Does any one have a suggestion as to how to get A3 to show the camera aperture setting on Leica M9 DNG files? The info. is there because if I export to Adobe Camera Raw the aperture setting is shown.

Dick,

I just checked and the Leica M9 is supported by Aperture 3, so assuming you’re fully up-to-date, you shouldn’t be having any problems.

I wonder if it’s the lens you’re using? Do you have more than one lens you can compare to?

You could send me the camera and I’ll test it out myself… hehe

Seriously though, feel free to post a DNG to me and I’ll check it on my system. Also, shoot a JPG in the camera and see what info comes through there.

Guys, I’m looking at this post several years later. Aperture does not show in the EXIF data the ‘Estimated Aperture’ nor the Lens name for Leica M9 (while Lightroom does). I know the information is in the files because again I can see it if I import into Lightroom. I can also see it in other softwares.

Any suggestion what can be done? Thanks so much. m.
