Revert Photo Stream to Aperture? #1

So I started to play with Photos and am having some of the same headaches others mention.

One problem bugging me is the fact that PhotoStream is now turned off in Aperture, and all the shots from my iPhone no longer end up in a monthly archive.

Any way to get the stream back to Aperture?

Yes! It’s a doddle.

Go to iCloud Preferences on Mac or iOS device, select Photos and tick (check) My Photo Stream.

David,

Are you saying there should or should not be a check in the “My Photo Stream” box?

There is a check in my box.  Photos gets all the shots taken on my iPhone, but Aperture no longer gets anything.  Aperture has effectively been turned off from the flow, and I’d like to turn it back on.

Hmmm.

Is it checked in Aperture preferences as well?

If not, turn it on; if on in both try various combinations of turning it on and off in Aperture and Cloud prefs.

Thanks for the help.  Photo stream is back in Aperture.
