Editing with 3rd party plugins #1

I’m curious…is there some way to know what 3rd party plugin was used in editing a photo after the fact?  Does Aperture store that info in some database that I’m just not seeing?  I’ve had some questions as to what I was using to achieve a look and if enough time goes by, unfortunately, I’m not remembering what plugin I did use.  All I see is the badge that shows I did 3rd party editing.

Steve

The only way I know of is if that plug in adds its own metadata - I recall Noise Ninja did. So if you poke round in custom metadata fields you may be able to create a metadata view that will help.

Thanks David. I starting messing around with that yesterday. I’ve no experience with automated scripts at this time for various reasons but also wondering if there is a way to automate it. I’ll be looking into that. Anyone, as well as you, David, feel free to chime in about that if you know anything about automating.

For those plug- ins which do not automatically add their name to the metadata I defined a keyword to be added manually.
