You almost never go wrong with more memory.  But I really hate how Apple makes so many models with non-user-upgradeable memory these days.

Its better to have more memory, RAM, and VideoCard Ram as opposed to faster CPU. MHO

Yup, upgrade. It’ll future proof your system too. New versions of OS X will invariably use more memory, not less.

There are three rules:

1. You can never be too rich.

2. You can never have too many cameras.

3. You can never have too much RAM.

If you can afford it … get as much RAM as is reasonable.
