Hi Guys,
If all the planets line up right, the new iMac will arrive tomorrow, if I can get it working on the net, hopefully, reading replies on a 27” screen instead of this iPad

On youtube Ive watched a lot of AE webinars that were uploaded,

What is the best headset and mic set-up for participating in webinars, have seen some economical ones here for around $30-50, will these suffice or should I spend more?

Sorry for the late reply, been bogged down setting up the new iMac and trying to sort out mail
Tks for the heads-up on the jacks, I may have missed that!
Much appreciated

Gary,

The iMac audio specs are:

Stereo speakers
Dual microphones
Headphone port
- Headphone/optical digital audio output (minijack)
- Support for Apple iPhone headset with microphone

Do not pick a headset/mic with separate jacks for the headphones & Mic… since there is only one jack. Most products will say if they are compatible with iPhone now days.

My daughter does gaming on her 27” iMac, and she bought a USB headset. I think it was from Logitech.

You can also use the built-in speakers/mic in the iMac… depending upon your environment.
