Hi!

I see that you can search by one star or more, two stars or more, etc … but what if I want to search pictures in a certain project/album that are EXACTLY one star, or EXACTLY two stars? Thanks!

In addition to making a smart album … you can always define your filter for any project or folder by selecting most any search perimeter by further defining your definition.

For the star rating fields you have the options of “is” - “is greater than or equal to” - and - “is less than or equal to” …

Choosing “is” will display only those images with your preferred rating. Choosing “is greater than or equal to” will display all images rated to your preference plus all the images that are rated higher than your preference. Choosing “is less than or equal to” will display your preferred star rating and any images that have a lower star rating. Including any image that have no star rating.

Got it, but I want a quick way to do it each time I want to, rather than having to delineate all of the search settings …

You could make a smart album that contains 1 star or 2 stars etc.

Eric,

I do not think you can. ^3 filters 3 stars or greater… But I do not see a place to provide shortcuts for the exact number.

Of course you can ^3 and then change the criteria to “is”… But that is not any faster than just using the mouse clicks for the full filter.
