I've added a new FAQ entry that should solve most if not all Aperture Inspector issues.

You can download the application from here: [Download Aperture Inspector]

I still do not see the date 2013 for either “Show From” or “To Date” date field. There does not seem to be a way of showing from 15 Jan 2013 to 31 Jan 2013.

Rick,

Have you updated to version 1.5?

Rick,

I just scanned my own library and you’re right! The “from” field only goes up to 2012 [screenshot] and the “to” field is missing 2013 [screenshot].

I’ll bring this to the attention of the developer; I’m sure it’s a simple fix and can be pushed out in an automatic software update.

Joseph,

Thanks for your quick work on this.

Joseph.

I did not catch it until I saw the posting here. I noticed with my system it scanned from 1999 to 2014 but it skipped 2013 and of course 2014 is not even here yet. My images do go back to 1999. I am sure they will get it fix fairly soon.

Best,

Stu

Hi Joseph,

Thanks for the upgrade, gave me the chance for another try ;-)

However I still have a problem when breaking down the numbers by focal length (no zooms at all). I looked at the statistic selecting only the camera Leica M9

(1) Classification by focal length in this case, showing a total of 3502 pictures:

0-16 39
16-35 518
35-50 1402
50-75 927
75-90 100
90-135 515
135-135 1

First of all I just don’t get your nomenclature: in which row will I find the images shoot with focal length of 35mm? Probably you mean:

0-15 39
16-34 518
35-49 1402
50-74 927
75-89 100
90-134 515
135-135 1

So the 35mm-pictures are included in the third row.

(2) Wrong total number
I checked the numbers in AP itself and found a total of 3214:

focal length #
0 28
16 12
18 103
21 5
24 166
28 192
35 1.256
50 870
75 102
90 469
135 1
10
total 3.214

As you may see the differences are rather big.

Best
Holger
